Property Overview
Renaissance Plaza at Freehold is a recently redeveloped community shopping center located at the interchange of Route 9, Route 33 and Schanck Road in Freehold, Monmouth County, NJ. The center is accessed from Schanck Road, a major thoroughfare connecting downtown Freehold Borough to suburban Freehold Township. The center was originally built in 1971 and upon our acquisition, the center was run-down, out-dated and a blight to the community.
Renaissance Properties is now delivering retail spaces to our newest tenants! iPlay America has recently signed on as the sites first anchor tenant. iPlay will be an 80,000 SF indoor family entertainment center featuring such attractions as bowling, go-karts, laser tag, arcades games, amusement rides, and dining.
The new, revitalized center still has opportunities for a co-anchor position as well as smaller, neighborhood businesses. Unit sizes range from approximately 1,062 SF to 27,000 SF. The center has 993 parking spaces.
Because it is located at the interchange of Routes 9 and 33, Renaissance Plaza at Freehold has immediate access to north, south, east and west highways. Route 9 is Monmouth County’s most heavily traveled and commercialized retail corridor and Route 33 is Monmouth County’s most direct access to Exit 8 and 8A of the NJ Turnpike, and to NJ’s shore towns.
Renaissance Plaza at Freehold is approximately 2 miles from Freehold Raceway Mall, an enclosed regional mall that is home to department stores such as Nordstrom and Lord & Taylor, and restaurants such as PF Changs and The Cheesecake Factory. The center is also within minutes to downtown Freehold Borough, the Monmouth County Court House and CentraState Medical Center.
