The Gables at Monroe is a unique, age-restricted community consisting of 71 townhouses with a lifestyle center. In a market saturated with age-restricted homes, many of which closely resembled each other and the formulaic architecture of garage doors dominating the façades of the home, Renaissance Properties knew it needed to offer something different.
With an eye towards appealing to buyers seeking more living space than the traditional age-restricted offerings, Renaissance developed a townhome product with homes ranging from 2,300-2,700 square feet. As is customary in the market, all essential living space including the master bedroom is located on the first floor. A second floor with 2 additional bedrooms and bathrooms along with a basement in each home helped set The Gables apart. Facades featuring stone and front porches on the middle units helped create a warm streetscape.
Further distinguishing this townhouse community is its integration with the adjacent Gables Plaza commercial center which puts shopping, personal services and restaurants only a short walk away.
